The reformer

JACQUELINE CHATTOPADHYAY
Age: 21 School: University of California, Irvine Majors: Political science and economics Her brilliant resume: During her senior year of high school in Irvine, Chattopadhyay noticed an inequality. Wealthier kids in her class could afford extra tutoring for the SATs, while everyone else was on their own. So once in college, she founded Students Mentoring Students, a program that helps low-income high school students become competitive college applicants. Now a Truman Scholar, Chattopadhyay divides her time and her first love, dancing. Dream Job: Public policy analyst. Guilty pleasure: "I drink way too much coffee."

"In a perfect world, everyone would get an education and pursue what they do best"
